The opening of private Chandra Villas in Bali this week marks the continued expansion of the 8Hotels luxury hotel collection.

The Chandra Villas are situated in the Oberoi area of Seminyak, a popular and upscale region of Bali located north of Legian. CEO Paul Fischmann said, “We are thrilled with the addition of Chandra; the villas are a perfect complement to our Australian hotel collection and apartments in Paris,” in a statement on Wednesday.

Combining contemporary features with the traditional Balinese style, the individually crafted villas are designed by Bali-based architect, Maria Paiva. Offering two and three bedroom options, each villa features an alfresco bathroom, living and dining area, private outdoor deck, bale pavilion and lap pool. Separated by filtered waterways, guests are assured privacy, with restaurants and shopping at their doorstep.

Chandra Villas offers 24-hour service to its guests, with complimentary private airport shuttle transfers. Other concierge services include dining reservations, childcare, in-room massage and beauty treatments and a private all day butler service. Rates begin at US$490 (around A$485) per night.
