| The Diamant Hotel Brisbane has marked boutique hotel chain 8Hotels’ recent expansion of upper scale properties into Brisbane. Formerly known as Porta Hotel, The Diamant is conveniently located on Astor Terrace, meaning it’s only a short walk away from Brisbane’s city centre as well as Central Railway Station, making transportation to notable exhibition centres and sport stadiums easy and direct. The contemporarily designed Diamant has 86 rooms in total, including the Standard Room, Deluxe Room and Premier Room. It’s most luxurious option, the Superior Room, blends comfort with classic style, featuring full cooking facilities, a full sized fridge and minibar, dishwasher, large 2 seater couch, 42” LCD flat screen, and a bathroom including a deep bath and stand alone shower. Although such features may suggest total self-containment, the hotel still thrives on quality service, offering 24-hour reception and porterage, a dry cleaning service, hairdresser, undercover valet parking and its own O-Bar and Restaurant. Guests can also choose from set packages, including Happy Weekending, Romantic Getaway and Surrealism: the Poetry of Dreams, with a starting full rate price of $550. |
