Andaz 5th Avenue opens in New York

Andaz 5th Avenue opened in New York this week, and is the first hotel fully designed by interior designer Tony Chi. Located across from the grand New York Public Library, this stylish hotel used to be the Tommy Hilfiger global headquarters. With 184 individual rooms, each has 12-foot ceilings and oversized bathrooms concealed behind black-washed poplar shutters and lined in polished travertine marble. Inspired by industrial New-York, the hotel's restaurants reflect seasonal food from New York State farms and locally produced goods from New York favourites such as Katz's Delicatessen and Sullivan Street Bakery.
