A new generation in Qantas check-in

Launching in Perth this month, Qantas has worked closely with Marc Newson in the design of its new Next Generation Check-in experience. The Next Generation Check-in experience will feature a new Qantas Frequent Flyer card, Q Card Reader and Bag Drop facility. An "intelligent Q" smart chip will at as a permanent boarding pass, replacing eligible customers existing Frequent Flyer Cards, providing both visual and audible recognition for successful check-in. With the trial commencing in Perth, upon its success the Next Generation Check-in will be a feature of all Australian major airports.
