Corinthia Hotels to open Corinthia Hotel London

Corinthia Hotels has announced their new London hotel is due to open in early 2011. The five-star luxury hotel will be located between Whitehall Place, Northumberland Avenue and Great Scotland Yard, and will overlook Trafalgar Square and the River Thames. The Victorian building has been renovated to include elegant and contemporary interiors with an inner foyer and garden, two restaurants, a luxury spa, a cocktail bar, meeting facilities and a grand ballroom. There will be 294 rooms including 45 suites, some of which will be located on duplex floors, inside historic turrets and feature private lifts and terraces. The two-bedroom Royal Suites will be the largest in London at more than 470 metres squared. World-renowned interior designer David Collins is creating the hotel bar and restaurant, and Chef Massimo Riccioli will bring his talents to the seafood restaurant.
