| Huka Retreats has officially announced the re-opening of the Dolphin Island Resort in Fiji. This 13-acre private retreat re-opens following an extensive period of renovation and refurbishment. The property accommodates a maximum of eight guests who can indulge in a private Pacific Island experience on an exclusive-use basis. The resort’s new features also include an infinity pool, updated interior design and revamped suites. Located 20 minutes by boat from shore on the tip of Viti Levu, Dolphin Island’s suites feature timber floors, large dressing rooms with twin hand basins in the bathroom, sculptural freestanding baths and outdoor showers within a private garden courtyard. Guests can venture to the top of the island where a sleep out bure awaits, featuring a thatched open-air bedroom for a romantic overnight stay. Guests can also expect fresh fish and produce for their meals, featuring many flavours and ingredients unique to Fijian cuisine. A variety of activities are available from swimming, snorkelling and tank dives to massages and facials and cultural excursions. Prices start from A$6,000 a night. |
