Emirates launched flights to Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro

Emirates has announced it will commence a daily non-stop service to Rio de Janeiro and an extension to Buenos Aires from January 3, 2012. The airline’s Chairman and Chief Executive His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al-Maktoum commented, “Both Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro are rightly renowned as world-class leisure destinations as well as important business and trading centres. Our research has shown that there is a high demand for these cities from across our network.” The service will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft that will include eight First Class Private Suites and 42 lie-flat Business Class seats.
