Fairmont announces new hotel in China

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts is set to expand its presence in the Asia Pacific region with the announcement of the Fairmont Nanjing, a new hotel due to open in China last 2012. The new hotel will feature 371 guestrooms and suites and will also have a variety of restaurants and bars, a 1,800-square-metre spa, a pool and fitness centre. "Expanding our impressive collection in China is a key goal for Fairmont, and this project provides many synergies with our existing hotels," said Chris Cahill, President, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts of the new development. Fairmont Nanjing will be part of the JinAo Plaza development, and housed in a 56-storey building that will also be home to office space and retail and residential offerings.
