| Boeing, the world’s second largest airplane manufacturer, has unveiled the first of their new 787 Dreamliners after more than three years of delays. Decked out in blue and white, the colours of their first customer Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA), the 787 Dreamliner is set to enter into service in September offering domestic flights in Japan. The Interior of the aircraft includes 12 business and 252 economy seats, each with larger room space and personal television set. The plane also includes an automatic toilet with a wash function, a beverage bar, dimmable windows, large lavatories, more storage and an arched entry. The Lightweight plane is also energy efficient, as much as 50 per cent is made of composite materials rather than aluminium while the fuel efficiency has increased by 20 per cent. The planes list for approximately $200 million. |
