From 14 December, Hawaiian Airlines will provide a year-round daily non-stop flight between Sydney and Honolulu, an increase from the current five flights a week. Responding to an increase in demand from Australian holidaymakers, the airline will provide the extra services with the addition of another aircraft to its fleet. “Australians are increasingly finding great value in Hawaii vacations,” Glenn Taniguchi, the airline’s senior vice president of marketing and sales, said on Monday in a statement. The outgoing flight to Honolulu will depart daily from Sydney at 9:20pm, scheduled to arrive at 10:10am that same day, due to the flight crossing the International Dateline. The return flight will depart Honolulu daily at 11:50am and arrive in Sydney at 7:20pm the following day. The airline flies a wide-body Boeing 767-300ER aircraft on the route, allowing for up to 264 passengers including 18 in Business Class.
