Iconic boutique property, Reef House Resort, will be returned to its former glory of the early 70’s as a world-class five-star resort. Mirvac Hotels & Resorts will cease management of the Palm Cove property under ownership of David Horbelt and Malcolm Bean, who hope to take guest facilities and services to brand new level. Situated in Williams Esplanade, Reef House is surrounded by 300-year-old heritage listed Melaleuca trees and enjoys an idyllic position overlooking Palm Cove beach and the Coral Sea. Horbelt and Bean will revive and refurbish the ‘plantation’ style building, giving it a fresh start and setting a new benchmark for boutique properties globally.
