Jamie Durie to recreate Hayman Island gardens

Landscape designer and television personality Jamie Durie is working with Hayman Island to recreate the garden surrounds of the resort that were damaged by recent cyclones which forced the temporary closure of the resort until the end of July 2011. The rectification works on Hayman are well under way integrating the gardens and key guest and accommodation areas, activity facilities and primary infrastructure. Hayman will re-open in August 2011.
