Lan Airlines recommences flights from Australia to South America

Starting from today, LAN Airlines will resume flights between Australia and South America following the dispersal of volcanic ash that blocked New Zealand airspace. Daily flights from Sydney to Santiago that fly via Auckland have been disrupted since early June because of the ash cloud. LAN has also announced that it will waive fees for passengers who were booked on travel prior to 8 July whose travel plans were affected by the ash cloud disruption.
