Luxury resort planned for Rottnest Island

Pinctada Hotels & Resorts has been chosen to work with the Rottnest Island Authority to develop a hotel and spa overlooking Longreach Bay on Rottnest Island. It will be the first new accommodation built on the Island since the 1980s. Pinctada Hotels & Resorts’ submission included a 120-room hotel, bar and lounge, function room, restaurant and spa that will be built on the island’s degraded former rainwater catchment site next to Longreach Bay. The development is designed to address the current gap in Rottnest accommodation while opening the area up to the corporate market by providing a conference and seminar destination. Pinctada Hotels & Resorts has developed resorts in Broome and Kununurra.
