Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group will open a new luxury hotel in Shanghai in 2013. The hotel will open in 2013. Located in the heart of the Lujiazui Central Financial District, and designed by renowned architect, Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, the Mandarin Oriental Pudong will feature 362 guestrooms and 210 serviced apartments. Offering views of the city skyline and the Huangpu River, the hotel will also have a club lounge, spa, grand ballroom, 25 metre indoor swimming pool, a fully comprehensive fitness centre and a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop.
