COQUINE BAR - LONDON
160 Old Brompton Road, London, SW5 0BA. (020) 7341 7678
If you want to enjoy a drink or two in London but want something new, then head to Coquine Bar. This split-level cocktail bar and restaurant serves French cuisine in a tapas style menu and combines the old and new in a cosy and elegant atmosphere. While the wine list is long and the food is good, it’s the interior design by Lee Broom that is the most eye-catching feature. With pieces from Broom’s “Heritage Boy” furniture range in the space you’ll spend most of your time looking around or up at lights made from vintage lead-crystal decanters rescued from antique shops.
