| North Star Cruises, operators of the adventure cruise ship True North, are sailing east to Papua New Guinea. The True North adventure cruise ship features three cabin selections, the Explorer cabins located on the upper floor followed by the River class cabins on the middle deck and the Ocean class cabins on the lower deck. All cabins feature stylish décors, en-suite facilities, satellite telephones and in-house entertainment. Modern Australian cuisine is served on the lower decks, which are surrounded by large panoramic windows allowing oceanic views. Guests can also relax on the sun deck and the lounges on the upper floor. Those able to secure a cabin on the True North journey to Papua New Guinea will take part in a range of daily activities. Water activities such as snorkelling over WWII tanks, Scuba diving and water fishing are followed by land activities which include treks in the jungle, helicopter flights including a visit to the Kokoda Track and flights over Rabaul’s active volcano and strolls in uninhabited islands. Guests are also given the opportunity to experience village life and local culture. The cruise will also include return flights in a private charter aircraft from Cairns. There are currently four departures scheduled for the Papua New Guinea cruise, starting on the 29th of October 2011. North Star is an Australian owned company operating for 25 years that offers luxury adventure-cruises along the Australian Coastline and in the waters of the South Pacific. |
