Orient-Express will open the Palacio Nazarenas, 55-suite hotel in a former palace and convent in Cuzco, Peru, in June 2012. The Palacio Nazarenas will be Orient-Express’ sixth hotel after a three-year restoration project carried out under the guidance of 8 full-time archaeologists and with the supervision of Peru’s National Institute of Culture.

The hotel will offer oxygenated suites, iPads in every room loaded with insider city guides, Cuzco’s first outdoor swimming pool, and an all day dining experience showcasing contemporary Andean cuisine. Many suites will feature fireplaces and views towards the hillside Inca site or the Cuzco’s cathedral and each spacious bathroom will have under-floor heating and Peruvian travertine marble.

Guests will be able to compliment their time spent exploring Peru’s ancient civilisation and vibrant culture by indulging at the full service spa offering an Indigenous product range and treatments inspired by Inca and Andean culture.
