Pacific Pearl arrives in New Zealand

P&O Cruises’ latest superliner Pacific Pearl is preparing for its naming ceremony at Auckland’s Queens Wharf on December 21. The 63,500-tonne Pacific Pearl has undergone an extensive refurbishment that has seen the introduction of new restaurants, bars and lounges as well as a revamp of the pool area and the installation of soft furnishings throughout. The public celebration will feature fireworks, a circus and musical performances before the superliner departs in her eight night maiden voyage to New Caledonia on December 22.
