Park Hyatt, New York to open in 2012

Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Extell Development Corporation will introduce the Park Hyatt brand to New York with a newly constructed hotel designed by world-renowned architect Christian de Portzamparc. Park Hyatt New York will be located at 157 West 57th Street and will feature 210 rooms with views of Central Park and the New York skyline. In addition to a bar, restaurant and 5,000 square feet of retail space, the property will include a premier meeting facility, spa, fitness centre and an indoor swimming pool in a three-story aerie at the top of the hotel. The hotels interior will be designed and influenced by the design firm Yabu Pushelberg. Park Hyatt, New York is set to be completed by 2012.
