Other than in relation to Non-Confidential Information, we will take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information that we hold from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. However, you acknowledge that the security of online transactions and the security of communications sent by electronic means or by post cannot be guaranteed and you provide information to us via the internet or by post at your own risk. Magnesium Media cannot accept responsibility for misuse or loss of, or unauthorised access to, your personal information where the security of information is not within our control. You acknowledge that Magnesium Media is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any Third Party (including Third Parties that we are permitted to disclose your personal information to in accordance with this policy or any applicable laws). | Updating Personal Information |
| At Magnesium Media we endeavour to ensure that the personal information we hold is accurate and up-to-date. We encourage you to contact us (contact details below) in order to update any personal information we hold about you. The National Privacy Principles require Magnesium Media to not store personal information longer than necessary. Where we no longer requires any personal information that we hold, that personal information will be destroyed or we will remove from it any details that will identify individuals. Under the Commonwealth Privacy Act, you have the right to obtain access to any personal information which Magnesium Media holds about you and to advise Magnesium Media of any perceived inaccuracy. There are some exceptions to this right set out in the Act. To make a request to access any information we hold about you please contact Magnesium Media in writing. Magnesium Media will require you to verify your identity and specify what information you require. We may charge a fee to cover the cost of verifying your application and locating, retrieving, reviewing and copying any material requested. |
