Qantas A380 operations update

With Qantas’ new schedule for international flights in coming weeks not including the A380 it appears the aircraft may be out of service for the summer holidays. Qantas’ six A380s have been replaced by Boeing 747s on long-haul flights to Los Angeles and London, leaving the A330 to fly several Asian routes. This news emerges as a preliminary investigation blames last week's midair emergency on an oil fire in the engine of QF32. Qantas still hopes the A380s will be cleared within days, yet won't return the A380s to service until they can guarantee absolute safety.
