Qantas commences direct flights from Sydney to Dallas

This week, Qantas commenced direct flights from Sydney to Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). The new service will benefit Australian travellers, as it offers easy access to central American destinations. The service will operate four times per week, and if it proves to be popular, its frequency will be increased. The flying time from Sydney to Texas is around 16 hours, and there is a stopover in Brisbane on the way back. Qantas CEO, Alan Joyce, said that the new service “takes Qantas customers into the heart of the United States, with a wide range of options for onward travel.”
