Qantas launches its Next Generation Check-in

Qantas has announced the launch of its Next Generation Check-in. November 10 will see the launch of the ‘Q Bag Tag’ in Sydney, where bags can be dropped at the auto Bag Drop with a touch of a Qantas card. The Q Bag Tag will automatically links customer’s luggage with their flight details when they use the auto Bag Drop facilities located in Sydney T3 and Perth domestic terminals. Qantas will send new Qantas cards to their Platinum, Gold and Silver Frequent Flyers and Qantas Club members from next week. The Next Generation Check-in will be progressively introduced in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Canberra throughout next year, and the program will completed by the second half of 2011.
