Qantas to launch Melbourne-Darwin services in May 2011

Qantas’ new North-South route between the Northern Territory and Victoria by Qantas will begin next May with return services available on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. A fourth service will operate on Mondays during peak season from July-October. Operated by a two-class, 168-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the new service route will support business and tourism growth between Melbourne and Darwin and will feature the new Neil Perry-designed menus for Business Class.
