Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is continuing its expansion in Asia Pacific with the Rockwood Palace Resort & Spa re-branded as Sheraton Udaipur Palace Resort & Spa, and another five Sheraton hotels to open up in India. The hotel has 240 rooms and is set on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake. It has three gardens, four restaurants and bar, a spa, and a club will soon be set up. Known as the "Venice of the East", Udaipur is also known for its spectacular scenery and palaces. Each guest will have an array of amenities, including the signature Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed, a LCD flat-screen television, wireless high-speed Internet access, and walk-in showers. Nine private pool rooms as well as three family suites with garden access will be added.
