Shangri-La Hotel Sydney has unveiled the A$20 million refurbishment of 442 of its guestrooms that began in May this year. The renovated rooms feature purpose-built window seating from which to take in the hotel’s panoramic views of Sydney’s harbour and skyline. Building on the technology upgrade to all rooms that took place in 2010 and saw the introduction of wide screen LCD televisions, Foxtel satellite channels and complementary broadband and internet access, the refurbished rooms will now also sport iHome docks (iPod docks with inbuilt radios) and media hubs.
