Silversea launches Culinary Arts voyages

Silversea Cruises has launched ten new Culinary Arts themed cruises to be offered in 2011 featuring renowned chefs and rising stars from Relais & Chateaux properties around the world. During the voyages chefs will conduct onboard, interactive cooking demonstrations and passengers can participate in food and wine pairings, escorted provisioning trips to international markets and the five-course grand gourmet dinner. The featured chef and Silversea’s executive chef will be on hand throughout the journey to share their culinary expertise and answer questions. Australian chefs George Francisco of Jonah’s and Mathew Macartney of Chateau Yering will feature on the Silver Shadow’s 30 day circumnavigation of Australia departing Sydney on January 19. Other international guest chefs include Anna Kim, Emanuele Vallini, Alois Vanlangenaeker, Alec Lomas and Yannick Upravan.
