St. Regis Lhasa opens in Tibet

The newly opened luxury hotel in Tibet is located 15 minutes from the Potala Palace UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel offers 162 rooms, each with views of the Himalayas and the valley of Lhasa, and all designed with traditional Tibetan motifs. All rooms feature a plasma TV, high speed Internet access and spacious marble bathrooms. St. Regis Lhasa offers three restaurants, a wine bar and tearoom where guests can enjoy international and local cuisine. There are also four meeting rooms, an Iridium Spa and a meditation garden yoga centre.
