Virgin Atlantic launches new airbus A330

Virgin Atlantic has launched its first Airbus A330 aircraft on the Manchester to Orlando route. This is the first of a fleet of 10 aircraft to arrive, which will continue to be delivered over the next two years. The first two planes will operate on leisure routes and will offer Premium Economy and Economy seats, while the remaining planes will also include Upper Class. The new aircraft will also feature a new Panasonic in-flight entertainment system with touch screen technology, and later in the year travellers will also be able to send and receive emails and texts on mobile devices.
