Virgin Blue Group has announced a new designer business and economy class product for guests travelling between Sydney and Perth. Commencing in May 2011, two new luxury Airbus 330 aircraft that offer the highest levels of comfort will travel between the East and West states. Virgin Blue Group Chief Executive and Managing Director John Borghetti claims the intend of the new designer business and economy class is to “position Virgin Blue as the airline of choice for both the corporate and the leisure markets.” With luxury leather padded seating, a range of high quality food options, and seatback multi-channel in-flight entertainment, Virgin aims to provide guests with a luxury experience of relaxation, comfort and excellence in service.
