Westin Resort and Spa to open in early 2012

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has signed an agreement with PT Bina Buana Sarana to develop The Westin Ubud Resort & Spa. The 107-room hotel is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012 and will be a health and wellness retreat. Located in the central foothills of Bali, the resort will offer a variety of personalised spa treatments, swimming pools, and state-of-the-art fitness equipment. It will also have four in-house restaurants and bars as well as a kids club. In keeping with the theme of rejuvenation, all guest rooms will feature Westin’s signature Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath. Chuck Abbott, Regional Vice President of Starwood in Asia Pacific, said the company is looking forward to “working in partnership with PT Bina Buana Sarana to further expand Starwood’s presence in Bali.”
