The Ritz-Carlton Macau also houses Ritz Kids, a kids’ club with fun and inspirational activities for younger guests.

Dining

The hotel offers several dining options, including Lai Heen, serving handcrafted Cantonese dishes in five private dining rooms, for a more intimate experience. French cuisine and fresh seafood is served at The Ritz-Carlton café, while the Bar & Lounge offers à la carte breakfast and afternoon tea during the day, and Asian tapas in the evening. There’s also the Ritz-Carlton Pool Bar, which provides casual alfresco dining inside a white willow wood cabana, located on the pool deck.

Spa

Relaxation and privacy is ensured at the hotel’s spa, ESPA, which has 10 treatment rooms and three couples’ suites with vitality pools, steam rooms, ice-fountains and experience showers. It feels so far from everyone outside, dark and quiet and incredibly relaxing.

Highlights

There is so much to do that its hard to be bored. For a family visiting, the pools will be a big hit. There are waterfalls and slides, with a current pool where you can grab an inter-tube floaty and just ride along. The restaurants are all fantastic with the Chinese options being a true experience and very authentic. The bar is a must-do experience for specialty drinks and entertainment.

Could do better

A few more breakfast options in the club level would have been nice to have.

Insider tip

Being such a large hotel, it’s best to upgrade to the club level as it will be far more private and quiet. Choose the Chinese restaurants on offer at the hotel, as they are truly authentic.
