Bora Bora’s newest luxury resorts

Luxury travellers visiting Bora Bora in Tahiti will have new choices when it comes to booking accommodation in 2017.

Conrad Hotels & Resorts has announced it will open its first Tahitian property when it takes over the Hilton Bora Bora Nui Resort & Spa, which Conrad will improve with a multi-million-dollar refurbishment to offer 29 garden and beach villas alongside 86 overwater bungalows.

Guests will be able to make the most of the resort’s guest amenities, which includes a full-service spa, kids club, mini-golf course, fitness centre and several dining options.

Also scheduled for a refresh is the InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa, which has announced it will add swimming pools to 10 of its existing overwater villas, a general refurbishment of all villas, as well as the addition of four, two-bedroom overwater villas with private pools.

For those with travel plans prior to next year, Le Meridien Bora Bora has recently completed a refurbishment of its bungalows and dining outlets.

A new wine bar, Happaina, now features at the lagoonside property serving a range of wines available by the glass and a tapas menu.
