Weather to go

Travellers to Myanmar will be most richly rewarded for travelling in March, the best time of year to travel due to pleasant temperatures and virtually no rainfall. Throughout April and May temperatures rise, but rainfall doesn't begin to pick up until June, when the south-west monsoon brings the beginning of rain and cooler temperatures.  This will continue through until September, when rainfall begins to decrease with temperatures remaining low.
