AYANA Komodo is offering a special pre-opening offer of 20% off and airport transfers for guests who book from now until the hotel’s launch date in September
AYANA has today opened bookings for its new property, AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach on the island of Flores, a one-hour flight from the ever-popular Bali. The first and only luxury resort to open on Flores, AYANA Komodo Resort will be open for business for the first time in September, with 13 suites and 192 premium guest rooms on offer. Inspired by light, comfort and open living, each contemporary room will feature ocean views with large windows to capture the sun setting behind Kukusan Island.
Set in one of the most rugged and beautiful islands of the Indonesian Archipelago, Flores is the ultimate nature-lover’s destination, with abundant natural life and lanscapes, from waterfalls to jagged dramatic mountain tops and vibrant sunsets overlooking Komodo National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the famous Komodo Dragon, the world’s largest species of lizard with a population of only 5,700, and not to be found anywhere else in the world. The waters surrounding Flores are also known for their excellent diving, with a year-round scuba season.
The new AYANA will see guests checking in from the 11th floor lobby, and access their room by descending towards the sandy shores. The resort will also feature a rooftop wedding and function suite accommodating around 200 guests, with an ocean view terrace, and a selection of six restaurants and bars.
Alongside a private white sand beach and extensive private pier, there will be two main swimming pools and one children’s pool, a spa, gym, and kids’ club. Local and Balinese hospitality will be intertwined to offer standards like no other on the Island.
In addition to the new resort, and in making full use of the extensive private pier, AYANA Komodo Resort, Waecicu Beach will also be launching a 54 meter long and 11 meter wide, 9-bedroom phinisi ship. The luxurious ship will take guests, either by full charter or bookable by bedroom, around the island for short explorations of approximately 2 or 3-nights per trip. The ship will also be available for weddings.
