The luxury hotel on Turkey’s Aegean coast has opened its doors for Europe’s sultry season
LUX Bodrum, set on a private peninsula on the Turkish Aegean coast, is now open for another summer season. With bookings being taken until 30 October, the popular holiday destination hotel offers 91 guest rooms, 19 private residences and a one-of-a-kind villa, all with panoramic sea views.
Located only 20 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport, LUX Bodrum is positioned in a unique hillside to beachfront setting with its own exclusive bay, set amidst aromatic pine trees and ancient olive groves, and overlooks a sapphire-studded Turquoise Coast. Fresh and innovative dining can be found at Stella –with floor-to-ceiling windows complete with ocean vistas, and Beach Rouge – a relaxed chill-out club by day and an invigorating party hangout in the night with live DJs and mixologists, while Cafe LUX serves up sweet treats and The Bar is the place to go for cocktails.
The resort also features a sleek spa in the LUX ME Wellness Centre, which features elegant treatment rooms delivering a wide choice of facials, massages and specialist therapies, using locally produced therapeutic essential oils. Guided by Wellness Experts, dip into indoor and outdoor fitness programmes, ranging from pilates, open-air on-deck yoga, and tailor-made fitness training sessions. Then there is the infinity pool, and all the LUX unique ‘Reasons to Go’ – from the Phone Home iconic red phone box to Cinema Paradiso pop-up films and Café ICI ice-creams.
Guests can hitch a ride on the house boat and cross the water to find themselves at the marina, one of Bodrum’s most glamorous hangouts, and considered the St Tropez of Turkey, or venture a little further to reach a handful of nearby Greek islands, including Patmos and Kos.
