Peninsula Hotels Launch Alfresco Summer Popups

The Peninsula New York rooftop and Peninsula Paris terrace will get a tropical mini-makeover for the summer season

In celebration of summer, Peninsula Hotels have launched redesigned alfresco dining spaces of the Peninsula New York Rooftop and Peninsula Paris Terrace. Throughout June, July and August these experiential pop ups will be featuring a variety of offerings including spiked ice-cream flavours, a Californian inspired wellness menu as well as live music across their New York and Paris properties.

At the Peninsula Paris, guests will get to enjoy a menu overhaul of California inspired dishes with a focus on wellness and drinks from the quintessential Parisian alfresco terrace bar. Healthy additions to the menu include Acai bowls, cholesterol-free omelettes, an a selection of biodynamic Californian wines.

The hotel’s sunny décor update will bring a taste of summer, with the La Terrasse Kléber embracing the West Coast vibe with tropical plants, surfboards, and decorative acid-coloured features. As the sun sets the terrace will come to life with lounge and electronic sounds as well as live music from the resident DJ Tuesdays through Saturdays from 6 p.m.

At the Peninsula New York, the hotel’s Manhattan Salon de Ning Rooftop Bar and Terrace with its extraordinary views will celebrate the hotel’s 30th anniversary by hosting the Summer Social Series. Live music acts will run up until the end of August, while a collaboration with Davey’s Ice Cream will see two new custom alcohol-infused ice cream flavours being released, including ‘Seduced in Shanghai’ – a blend of grapefruit-infused gin with a cream base and a hint of refreshing mint.
