On the evening of June 4, Luxury Travel attended a grand event at the historic Sydney Town Hall, celebrating the 150th anniversary of Moët & Chandon’s signature brut champagne, Impérial.
The black-tie dinner was hosted by Moët & Chandon President and CEO Stéphanie Baschiera, along with Moët & Chandon Ambassador Jesinta Franklin. 150 high-profile public figures graced the event, including actress Olympia Valance and former politician Hon. Julie Bishop.
Luxury Travel, among other guests, enjoyed the Impérial 1869 cocktail created for the occasion, after a spectacular black carpet arrival into Town Hall. Renowned French chef, Guillaume Brahimi, curated a sumptuous two-course meal, paired perfectly with the celebrated champagne.
To end the dinner, the two hosts created a lavish display by pouring a 20-tier Impérial champagne tower, using limited-edition anniversary bottles. The night concluded with a surprise performance by Hayden James in the Moët & Chandon Studio 1869 after party.
