Mondrian Singapore Duxton to debut in 2023

With hotels set to open in the Gold Coast, Bordeaux, and Cannes, design-led hospitality brand Mondrian has announced another property that will open its doors in Singapore.

The hospitality group Ennismore has announced that a Mondrian hotel will debut in Singapore in 2023, the first for the brand in Southeast Asia.

In line with the group’s other properties, which are set in trendy areas in global cities such as London, Los Angeles, and New York, the Mondrian Singapore Duxton will be located in the Duxton Hill neighbourhood – home to buzzy cafes, restaurants, bars, and art galleries, and a short walk to the city’s central business district.

The brand’s focus on design, local connection, and collaboration will also feature prominently at the new hotel, which is said to draw inspiration from the heritage conservation area’s traditional architecture. With 302 guest rooms and suites, a rooftop pool, and stylish restaurants and bars, the space will also act as a creative hub with immersive installations and a display of local and international contemporary artworks.

“With creativity and purpose at the heart of everything we do, the debut of Mondrian Singapore Duxton marks a significant milestone in our introduction of the Mondrian guest journey across Asia Pacific,” said Mr Chadi Farhat, Chief Operating Officer of Mondrian at Ennismore.

The Singapore hotel is one of several in development around the world, with properties in Bordeaux, Cannes, and the Gold Coast all set to open in the new year.
