Three new luxurious accommodation options from Santo Collection will open in Oia, Santorini, in time for the Northern Hemisphere’s 2023 summer season.
The collection will comprise the existing Santo Pure boutique resort, formerly known as Santo Maris, which will have 20 new suites; Santo Mine, a new 37-suite resort; and two four-bedroom luxury villas.
Carved into the cliffs of Oia on the site of an old stone mine, the new adults-only Santo Mine resort will open in May, overlooking Ammoudi Bay and the Aegean. Thirty-seven suites are each equipped with a private pool or Jacuzzi, with a design that takes inspiration from the rugged landscapes of Santorini. Interiors channel Cycladic minimalism with liberal use of natural materials sourced locally, including stone, ceramics, timber, marble, and copper. Guest amenities include a restaurant, an all-day bar, a wine cellar, a spa, and an outdoor gym.
In Oia’s west, the Villas by Santo Collection will comprise two secluded luxury villas with panoramic views overlooking the Aegean Sea when it opens in May. The villas are connectable to create an eight-bedroom private holiday home spanning 1,195sqm of indoor and outdoor living space, accommodating up to 16 guests.
Indoor and outdoor kitchens, BBQ areas, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, swimming pools, fitness rooms, saunas, and gardens will create a luxurious bolthole that encourages al fresco living. Guests will have access to a dedicated concierge service to arrange private chefs, spa services, and excursions like yacht and helicopter tours.
Formerly known as Santo Maris, Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas will reopen in April for the 2023 summer season with 20 new suites. The 85 accommodations are spread over six areas with Mediterranean gardens, six swimming pools, two dining concepts, and the award-winning Anassa spa.
Room rates at Santo Pure start at €282 (about AUD 434) per night, while room rates at Santo Mine start at €491 (about AUD 755) per night. Rates for The Villas by Santo Collection start at €6,500 (AUD 9,997) per night, with a six-night minimum stay.
