Now open for the European 2023 summer season, Casa Angelina has showcased a new suite by the renowned Italian designer, Paola Lenti.
Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea from its clifftop position in Praiano on the Amalfi Coast, the boutique luxury hotel Casa Angelina has reopened for the summer season with a new suite and enhanced guest experiences for those wanting to discover their locale.
Fittingly named Suite Azure, and with a design that echoes the blue waters of the sea over which it looks, Casa Angelina’s newest accommodation has been elegantly conceptualised by renowned Italian interior designer, Paola Lenti.
The 50m2 suite is on the second floor of the hotel and features an open-plan bedroom and living space with a walk-in wardrobe, and large bathroom with separate tub and shower. A 16m2 terrace is equipped with Paola Lenti outdoor sunbeds and chaise lounges, on which guests can soak up the Italian sunshine while taking in views of Positano and Capri.
A palette of blues and white was chosen to create a synergy with the sea and sky. Aquamarine touches throughout allude to the different shades of the sea, while varnished side tables and an Agio chaise lounge lend a contemporary aesthetic.
New for the summer season, Casa Angelina’s stargazing experience is designed for those interested in celestial wonders. Guests booking the activity will be guided through the night skies with a telescope, complemented with celestial-inspired cocktails created by a mixologist, and a private gourmet meal on Casa Angelina’s rooftop.
Other guest experiences include a bespoke dinner served aboard the hotel’s traditional ‘Gozzo’ boat, departing at sunset; and a package that includes a day driving around Amalfi’s scenic coastline in a FIAT 500 Cabrio, with a route and itinerary designed by the hotel concierge.
