Patina Maldives, Fari Islands is set to host Experience as Healing, a weekend where guests will connect with wellness practitioners for a series of masterclasses devoted to balancing emotional, physical, and intellectual wellbeing.
From 2–3 June, the recently opened luxury resort Patina Maldives, Fari Islands is hosting a wellness weekend with a lineup of experts covering psychosocial health, nutritional sciences, and esoteric practices.
Patina Hotels & Resorts is the new luxury lifestyle brand by Capella Hotel Group, also behind the recently opened Capella Sydney. Patina’s Maldivian resort is set in the Fari Islands archipelago of the North Malé Atoll and features 90 contemporary one- to three-bedroom Beach and Water Pool Villas, as well as 20 Fari Studios. It was designed by the renowned Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan of Studio MK27.
Highlights of the Experience as Healing program include masterclasses like ‘Learning to Breathe’ with Avery Whitmore, a Los Angeles-based sound meditation and breathwork practitioner; ‘Drinking when you’re not drinking’ with Claire Warner, an award-winning ambassador of ‘positive drinking’; and ‘Why great sleep improves your creativity’ with the best-selling author and wellness-tech investor, Tony Estrella.
During the weekend, guests can participate in a beach clean-up to contribute to plastic-free seas, enjoy plant-based breakfasts and communal dining experiences, and attend a beach party with fellow wellness travellers.
Room rates start from $1,175 (minimum three-night stay) including a daily half-board meal plan. Up to two children below the age of 12 years can stay for free, with complimentary meals from the kids’ menu.
