A new restaurant by the internationally acclaimed chef Massimo Bottura is scheduled to debut this festive season in Singapore

Chef Massimo Bottura is set to expand his culinary repertoire to Asia, by launching Torno Subito at COMO Dempsey in Singapore, by the end of January 2024.

Torno Subito – translated as ‘I’ll be right back’ in Italian – pays homage to 1960s Italy, a period defined by the Golden Age of Italian cinema and summers on the Adriatic Riviera. The restaurant celebrates evolving Italian traditions, featuring flavours that traverse from the North to the South of Italy. Guests can experience a showcase of creative interpretations of traditional Italian flavours.

Chef Massimo Bottura is recognised for his world-renowned restaurant, Osteria Francescana, where he turned storytelling into an edible art form. Each dish offers a story and intends to trigger a specific feeling, moment or memory. This heartfelt approach to cuisine led Osteria Francescana to earn the No.1 spot in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2016 and 2018.

In 2019, the restaurant made its debut at The Palm in Dubai and is now expanding into Asia with a new location in Singapore. The venue spans over 1000 square metres and provides seating for 154 guests.

To familiarise guests with Torno Subito, the restaurant hosted an exclusive pop-up featuring a decadent menu from September 20th to 23rd, 2023, just before its official opening.
