Luxury cruise and touring company Scenic has announced a new luxury mega yacht set to make its maiden voyage in August 2018.
The new yacht, called Scenic Eclipse, has been labelled by the company as the “World’s First Discovery Yacht” and will be a six-star vessel with capacity for 228 guests. It will have 114 all-verandah suites, ranging in size from 32sqm to the 233sqm two-bedroom Owner’s Penthouse Suite.
There will be six dining options, including French, Pan Asian, and Italian cuisine; as well as more casual al-fresco choices. The ship will have a spa with indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and plunge pools, as well as a selection of luxury treatment options.
Scenic Eclipse will have two onboard helicopters and a seven-seat submarine for guests to discover the destinations they visit, with a Discovery Team available to assist with excursions in more remote regions.
In 2018, Scenic Eclipse will embark on her maiden voyage from Istanbul to Venice before sailing to The Americas; Antarctica; Europe and the Mediterranean; and the Arctic and Norwegian Fjords. A full brochure with 18 itineraries will be released in February.
Voyages will include all meals, complimentary top-shelf beverages all day, butler service, on board entertainment, as well as all gratuities, WiFi, local guides for shore excursions and a selection of activities and events.
