Inside the new-look Dior Spa at Hôtel Plaza Athénée

Dorchester Collection’s luxurious Parisian hotel has opened the doors to its new-look Dior Spa following a complete redesign

Those checking into Hôtel Plaza Athénée, the five-star Dorchester Collection hotel set on Paris’ Avenue Montaigne, can now visit a refreshed wellness space by Dior.

The spa, which was the first from the luxury maison when it opened at the hotel in 2008, now offers five individual treatment rooms and one for couples, a sauna and hammam, and a new light therapy suite.

The Dior Light Suite may be of particular interest to jetlagged travellers, with therapies designed to synchronise circadian and chronobiological rhythms that influence daily wellbeing, energy levels, sleep patterns, and skin health. Three special treatments have been crafted by Dior using different light intensities to either boost energy levels, alleviate tension or encourage a restful night’s sleep.

Two bespoke treatments and four three-hour rituals have also been added to the spa menu to aid Hôtel Plaza Athénée’s guests with calming and restoring the body, face, and mind.

New spaces in the spa include a relaxation area to enhance a sense of wellbeing pre- and post-treatment. It offers fruit and vegetable juices, herbal teas, dietary supplements, and wellness accessories.

Guests wanting to get active can do so in the new fitness studio, providing a selection of equipment, as well as training programs in partnership with Parisian trainers from premium fitness concept, Gymate.
