Taj Safaris has opened a new safari lodge in Nepal – its first outside of India.
Taj Safaris has opened its first lodge outside of India – Meghauli Serai in the Chitwan National Park, Nepal.
The lodge has 13 rooms, 16 villas, and a presidential suite and is located in the heart of the Chitwan National Park – a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the last surviving examples of the natural ecosystems of the Terai region in Nepal.
The property has an organic garden producing fresh and local food for guests; massage rooms with spa therapies, a large outdoor pool, and private massage decks. Activities available for guests include guided safaris and wildlife drives, bush bonfire dinners, canoeing adventures on the Rapti river and themed dining experiences.
All-meals-inclusive rates start from A$277 (single occupancy) / A$395 (double occupancy) per night for stays to 15 May 2016.
