The retreat is only a 20-minute ferry from Sydney’s famous Palm Beach.

Four laidback luxury pavilions, surrounded by Mother Nature. The main house at Pretty Beach House is a collection of premium guest facilities including an open-plan kitchen, impressive dining room, huge open fireplace, wine cellar, day spa, outdoor communal pool and poolside pizza oven for more casual al-fresco dining.

Mostly international guests at the beginning or end of a national tour around Australia. Guests also include Sydneysiders looking for an indulgent weekend escape, nature lovers, hikers and active couples.

Pretty Beach House usually accommodates couples. Families can be accommodated in the case of an exclusive-use booking, as Bill Gates’ family has done once before.

 

Airport transfers:

Yes, luxury car transfers are available from Sydney or Newcastle airports for A$275 one-way. Helicopter and seaplane transfers are also available (both are 20 minutes from Sydney).

You need to know:

Guests are welcomed as if in a private home where all dining, premium beverages, local transfers, mountain biking and an indigenous smoking ceremony are included.

 

On site dining facilities:

The main house is designed for relaxation and conviviality, and guests can help themselves from the fully stocked bar before dinner while taking in the stunning coastal views. Guests can choose to dine in the spectacular dining room, al fresco by the pool or perhaps even on the hotel’s boat. The menu is highly personalised depending on the guests’ likes and dislikes.

Yes, one main pool and one heated plunge pool in all pavilions with the exception of Treetops. Four on the property in total.

No, but a personal trainer or yoga instructor can be arranged.

Pretty Beach House sponsors three children from World Vision on a monthly basis, and supports YALARI, an organisation which educates young indigenous children.
