The Old Clare’s neighbouring eatery, Kensington Street Social, hosts Social Weekends brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 11.30am.  From Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton, the menu includes choices such as buckwheat hotcakes with vanilla mascarpone and pear; alpine salmon with coddled egg and kombu; the full English Breakfast or marbled Wagyu with béarnaise. Guests can opt for the bottomless sparkling brunch, which includes two hours of sparkling and two courses for A$65. Guests can upgrade to Taittinger champagne for A$165.

Each Sunday from 11.30am, the Hyatt Regency Sydney’s newest rooftop offering hosts an open-air brunch overlooking Darling Harbour. For A$88 per person, guests can enjoy a four-course breakfast including farmer’s granola and yoghurt, artisan breads, chilled seafood, house made pastries and a choice between poached eggs and French toast. A glass of Moët & Chandon Rose Impèrial is also included; cocktails such as a Belvedere Spritz and Espresso Martini are available from the bar.

The Shangri-La Sydney’s fine dining restaurant Altitude, with its floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, is now open for breakfast. For A$75 per person, the brunch offering includes free-flowing Mimosas or Bellinis, alongside menu options such as waffles, eggs, pancakes and desserts. There is a free-flowing sparkling option for A$55 per person, or an option to upgrade to free-flowing champagne for A$85 per person.
