Luxury hotel Le Sereno in St. Barth’s is just a few months away from the official launch of its second property, il Sereno in Lake Como, Italy. Despite its location on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, il Sereno is set to be just as luxurious as its Caribbean counterpart.
Set for a June 2016 launch, il Sereno Lago di Como will be positioned as a stylish accommodation option among the lake’s prestigious collection of hotels. Situated on a peninsula next to the village of Torno, the hotel is less than six kilometres from the centre of Como and approximately 50 minutes’ drive from Milano-Malpensa airport.
Il Sereno has just 30 suites, continuing the Sereno brand’s philosophy of contemporary luxury in an intimate setting. Each spacious suite has lake views and private furnished terraces.
Facilities include a pool bar, waterfront freshwater heated infinity pool, full-service spa and a fitness centre.
The property has taken an understated and contemporary approach to its interiors, distinct from the typically classic and ornate style of décor that is traditionally seen in Lake Como.
Suite rates start at EUR 780 (about A$1,214) per night.
